Excellent C&J Technique!

(Please allow a moment for the video clip to load.)

Here’s another lifter at the recent USA Weightlifting National Championships. She demonstrates some of the finest technique displayed at this meet. All of her positions are excellent and her attention to detail is great.

The clip runs first in regular speed, then in slow motion. Note especially how she keeps the bar close to the torso while pulling under, with great wrist flexion contributing to the effort. Her split in the jerk, along with the recovery, is textbook-like.

Use the white triangles just below the Play bar to see this lifter’s key positions, along with my commentary. You can advance key positions by using the Next Marker option. Also, use Dartfish’s Next Frame option to watch the lift frame-by-frame.
